The City of Fountain City is seeking sealed bids for mowing of the Fountain City Public Cemetery located at W799 State Road 95, Fountain City, WI. Bids are only being solicited from established bidders known to be regularly engaged in municipal or commercial lawn work. Bid needs to be for annual rate. (20 mowings, starting anytime on or after May 12th ,2024 in preparation for Memorial Day holiday and ending October 1st.) Contract is for two years, 2024 - 2026 Type of Mowing (Max height of 3", No side-discharge decks; to keep headstones and monuments clean as possible) mowing and weed whipping to be done once a week or as needed. Need to submit a copy of your liability Insurance (1 million in coverage) Need to submit a copy of Federal EIN Must have your own reliable equipment; mower and weed whip. Mowing payment is in five equal payments beginning in May. Minimum of one commercial or municipal reference will be required and checked. Awarded bidder will need to sign a binding contract with the City of Fountain City for services. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and or all bids that do not meet the bid specifications.
