Project Description: In accordance with plans and specifications prepared by Water Works Engineers, LLC, the Work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, tax, equipment and services for the construction and completion of water treatment plant improvements, including but not limited to the following: Remove and dispose of existing 27" raw water piping and existing 30" slide gate. Demolition and disposal of existing flocculation basin infrastructure including existing paddle flocculators, rapid mixer, concrete supports, handrail and grating. Demolition and disposal of existing influent 18" piping, butterfly valve, and flowmeter. Supply and install new influent 18" piping, flowmeter, butterfly valve, and chemical injection piping. Supply and install new 30" raw water piping and associated chemical injection piping and vault. Supply and install of new 30" slide gate. Supply and install (6) vertical turbine flocculators with motor center addition and (1) rapid mixer. Supply and install miscellaneous metals including beams, grating, handrail, and davit bases. Construction of intake screen channel, supply and installation of automatic fine screen with controls. The total Contract Time to achieve Final Completion is 480 calendar days
