Placer County is located northeast of Sacramento and extends east from the Sacramento Valley to the Lake Tahoe Basin at the California/Nevada Stateline. Work performed under this RFQ will be confined to the portion of Placer County situated east of Donner Summit, with emphasis on the Lake Tahoe Basin and Truckee River watersheds. The Tahoe Engineering Division within the Department of Public Works needs to contract with construction firms to complete various projects in a timely manner, or when projects require additional construction specialty experience. The projects for each service category are estimated to range from $5,000 up to $100,000. The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to establish five Qualified Lists of firms, one for each service category identified below. Each list will consist of approximately three or more firms to provide the services described for their respective list on an as-needed basis. The resulting Qualified Lists shall be valid for one year from the date of award. The five service categories are as follows: - Concrete Contractor - Asphalt Contractor - Electrical Contractor - General Contractor - Vegetation Management Question Deadline: Tue Mar 8, 2022 12:00 PM (PST)
