As of November 27, 2023, project was awarded to GEM Building Contractors Inc, awarded amount is $421,742.42. This project involves the construction of a new municipal park maintenance building, including, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing; existing site feature demolition and protection; unclassified bulk excavation; erosion and sediment control measures; storm sewer installation; asphalt and concrete paving; Electrical features for a new park maintenance building and electrical construction, complete in place. Plumbing construction for a new park maintenance building including, but not limited to, water supply and building plumbing construction; site water and sanitary sewer installation; and coordination of the construction of the new maintenance building with the Owner complete in place. Mechanical construction for a new park maintenance building. including, but not limited to, associated building mechanical construction, complete in place. A ten ($10.00) dollar mailing fee will be charged for any documents delivered by U.S. mail. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents will be made available to Bidders at no charge upon request. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Neshannock Township, 3131 Mercer Road, Neshannock Twp, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. Proposals must be made to Neshannock Township and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw their Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting the Bid guarantee. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are required to be paid on this Project. The Township also reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
