The County Expo Center is a 100,000 sq. ft. multi use expo, meeting, and event facility. Annually over 250 events are held. The building was constructed in multiple phases. The proposed projects include replacing all HVAC equipment and controls in the Expo South and Expo North buildings that are part of the overall complex of buildings. The purpose of this project is to replace eight (8) aging packaged gas/electric rooftop units (RTU). Four (4) Roof mounted unites will require transition roof curbs to be installed on existing curbs. Four (4) Grade mounted units will require pad extensions. New gas rooftop units will require gas piping. Demolition of heating water system is included in the scope of work to include the boiler, pumps, piping, accessories, and terminal devices including radiation heat, unit heaters, and a makeup air unit. Work and schedule must be coordinated with Expo Center event and facility contracts to allow events to continue with minimal disruption while maintaining operational HVAC systems at all times during construction period.
