No definite date for the rebid.** The Georgia World Congress Center Authority is seeking construction firms interested in providing construction services for a project known as the Renovations of Gifts and Sundries Shop. Georgia World Congress Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia. The ITB can be downloaded from the Georgia procurement Registry by going to the Documents tab at the top left of this page. Interested firms should continue to check this site project updates. Gifts and Sundries space This space will be restored back to a clean and blank retail space. o Provide safety barrier around the workspace. o Remove all millwork, fixtures, shelving, and counters from the space. o Remove the existing flooring and prepare the existing subfloor to receive new flooring. Supply and install new standard VCT tile flooring. o Remove existing ceiling. o Install black 2'x2' acoustical ceiling tiles and grid throughout the space. o Remove all existing lighting and install new low-profile LED downlights providing 400 lumens per fixture. o Patch and paint walls o Install 1/2" water line and 2" drain by tying into the water and drain lines below. o Replace floor diffusers and/or grills with new diffusers/grills similar to existing. o Remove and safe off existing electrical circuits back to the space perimeter. o Provide final cleaning of the space at the conclusion of the work. Project Schedule All work shall be coordinated and scheduled around the GWCCA event schedule. GWCCA will coordinate with the selected contractor to select consecutive days that work can be performed and completed within the event schedule. Work must be completed by November 8,2023
