Demolition, site work and addition to a transportation facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The project is in the $12-16 million range. 1. Demolish existing fuel farm on the northeast side of the site, including canopy, fuel equipment, and existing fuel tanks. 2. Remove existing pavement, electrical cables, drainage, concrete aprons, bollards, and door loops. 3. Install new drainage system throughout site. 4. Install foundations for 61,615 SF PEMB building. 5. Install PEMB and CMU expansion for existing Field Maintenance Building. 6. Install Snow Guards and Fall Protection System. 7. Install underground utility improvements including electrical, communication, drainage and water. 8. Install new pavements for access drive way. 9. Install final site pavement and tie into existing buildings and paved areas.
