FINANCIAL INFORMATION The current engineer's cost estimate for the Phase 2 base bid is $2,873,000. There are five bid alternants beyond the base package that City Council will consider after bids are received. These alternatives have the following estimated costs: Alt A (additional parking): $30,000 Alt B (splashpad overhead shade structures): $135,000 Alt C (cast stone seat walls in lieu of PCC): $36,000 Alt D (extend irrigation to CEC landscaping): $18,000 Alt E (extend fence along the north parking lot of Public Works ): $10,000 Estimated total with bid alternants $3,102,000 Phase 2 is to be funded through existing $1,088,000 2022-2023 LOST revenue, the remaining $1.062,500 ATE dollars, an $20,000 Prairie Meadows Grant and the balance through projected available 2023-2024 LOST revenue. Project also includes 80 LF of water main realignment, 800 SY of parking lot paving removal and new paving (approx. 150 SY of HMA, 900 SY of 8" PCC, 500 SY of 5" PCC) for parking spaces and sidewalks throughout.
