Renovation of a municipal facility in Ewing, New Jersey. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

As of August 8, 2024, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The DPMC is seeking to engage the services of an architectural firm with the objective to replace the window and brick facade on the Finance and Administration Building at the New Jersey Department of Transportation Headquarters with a new facade system. The DOT Finance and Administration (F&A) Building is a three-story steel framed structure with concrete masonry walls and brick faade. The building was built in 1969 and is connected to the south side of the Main Office Building via an enclosed connector. The building has been experiencing water infiltration for years. Attempts to reseal the existing single pane windows and seal basement walls have failed to stop the water intrusion. The firm shall also have in-house capabilities or identify sub-consultants prequalified in the following disciplines: 1. Structural Engineering P007, 2. Estimating/Cost Analysis P025, 3. Asbestos Design P037, 4. Asbestos Safety Control Monitoring P038 and 5. Lead Pain Evaluation P065 The consultants project approach and implementation plan, schedule and cost estimating/budget control will be reviewed as part of the full technical proposals which will be submitted at a later date. Note: This contract includes a goal of awarding 25 percent of the total contract value to either a prime or subcontract level. The consultant selected for award must produce copies of notice(s) from the Division of Revenue & Enterprise Services designating the prime or subcontracting firm(s) as an approved Small Business Enterprise and document their team's SBE participation prior to the award of a contract.
