Reference Number 00003740454 The project includes two scopes a Tree Management Plan and an Accessibility Improvement Plan with accompanying specification drawings for each. Both should follow the same format, focusing on their area of interest. The City wants to develop a comprehensive tree asset management plan to ensure its urban trees and forests optimal health, safety, and aesthetic value. The successful Proponent will partner with the City to develop a strategic plan encompassing tree placement, species selection, proactive maintenance, replacement schedules and budgets. It must address and suggest replacement prioritization of trees based on condition and location while considering the location’s character and streetscape. To help contextualize this project, the Proponent should prepare to summarize what municipal comparators and other Central Albertan Cities have in place for tree management plans at the kick-off meeting.
