Renovation of an educational facility in Nashua, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

No Interpretation of the Meaning of the Plans, Specifications, or Other Procurement and Contracting Documents Will Be Made to Any Bidder Orally. Every Request for Such Interpretation Shall Be in Writing. Requests Shall Be Addressed to: Jamie Ouellette, Aia Harriman 46 Harriman Drive Auburn, Me 04210 T: 207-784-5100 E-mail: Jouellette@harriman.com, and Kaustin@harriman.com, and to Be Given Consideration Must Be Received at Least Five (5) Business Days Prior to the Date Fixed for the Opening of Bids. Any and All Such Interpretations and Supplemental Instructions Will Be in the Form of Written Addenda. Addenda May Be Issued Up to 72 Hours Prior to the Receipt of Bids. Bidders Are Responsible for Verification of Addenda Before Submitting Their Bid. Failure of Any Bidder to Receive Any Such Addendum or Interpretation Shall Not Relieve Any Bidder From Any Obligation Under His Bid as Submitted. All Addenda So Issued Shall Become Part of the Contract Documents. Bidders Obtaining Bid Documents From Other Parties Other Than Directly From Harriman Are Responsible to Inquire, With the Above Given Harriman Email Addresses, Whether Any Additional Addenda Have Been Issued No Later Than 24 Hours Before Bids Are Due. Failure to Inquire and Receive Such Documents is Solely the Responsibility of the Bidder. 1.4 Days and Hours of Work a. The Contractor Shall Make Such Arrangements With Its Employees as Not to Conflict With the Wage and Hour Laws of the State of New Hampshire and the United States of America. Be It Further Understood That, if in the Opinion of the Owner and Architect, the Work is Not Progressing Fast Enough to Ensure Completion by the Date Set, the Contractor Will Be Required to Work Such Additional Shifts and Overtime as, in the Opinion of the Owner and the Architect, is Necessary to Complete the Work on the Required Date Without Extra Cost to the Owner. 1.5 Substitutions a. The Bid Shall Be Based on the Materials or Products as Specified. Whenever in the Specifications a Particular Article is Specified by Proprietary Name, the Bidder Shall Base the Bid on Same. B. For an Item to Be Considered as an Approved Equal Where Allowed, the Request Shall Be Made by Email, Received at Least Five Days Prior to the Bid Date, With a Complete Submittal for the Proposed Item, and the Identification of the Item and Specification Section. All Approvals Will Be Issued as Addenda. the Owner and/or Architect Reserve the Right to Reject Any and All Substitution Requests, No Exceptions. 1.6 Time of Completion a. The Contractor Shall Prosecute the Work Continuously in Each Area of the Building Until Completion Following the Acceptable Timeframes Noted Below. the Rate of Progress Shall Be at Least That Shown on the Schedule of Progress Which is to Be Submitted by the Contractor in a Form Satisfactory to the Architect and Owner. Delivery, Installation, and Completion for "Area B"," Area C", and "Area D" of the Building Shall Take Place No Sooner Than May 1, 2024, and No Later Than June 15, 2024. Delivery, Installation, and Completion for "Area a" of the Building Shall Take Place No Sooner Than June 01, 2024, and No Later Than July 01, 2024. All Deliveries, Installation, and Completion Days and Times Shall Be Coordinated With the Nashua School District, Harriman, and Harvey Construction Monthly and No Less Than 2 Weeks Prior to the Scheduled Delivery Day. All Deliveries, Installation, and Completion for Each Area Shall Be Done in the Allotted Time Frames Noted Above. No Deliveries for Areas Outside the Allotted Time Frame Will Be Allowed, Nor Will Locations on Site Be Provided for Early or Late Deliveries. Any Required Off-site Storage Fees and/or Charges Are the Responsibility of the Bidder. Bidder is Responsible for All Overtime, and After Hour Fees/charges. This Invitation to Bid is Not to Be Construed as an Offer, Which Can Be Accepted by Submitting a Bid. the Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, With or Without Cause, to Negotiate With Any Person Both Before and After Bids Are Submitted, to Modify Its Specifications at Any Time, to Accept Any Bid Regardless of Price and Regardless of Whether a Bid Complies With the Terms of the Bid Request or Instructions Contained in This Letter or in the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual, to Disclose the Bids and Other Information Concerning Bids to Any Person at Any Time to Use Bid Information Submitted to It for Any Purpose.
