This plan is to involve the public, Village Officials and Village staff and evaluate the existing system in order to develop policies, strategies and a prioritized phased improvement program with projected costs to address current and septic-to-sewer future infrastructure needs, as further described in "RFQ 2023-09-02 Septic-To-Sewer Master Planning Services". PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Village desires to develop a 20-year (2023-2043) septic-to-sewer master plan (the "Master Plan") to determine the most efficient and cost-effective manner to identify septic-to-sewer improvements and the strategies needed to serve the businesses and residents of the Village over the planning period. Pursuant to subsection (t) "Cone of Silence," of Section 2-11.1 of Miami-Dade County, public notice is hereby given that a "Cone of Silence" is imposed concerning this competitive purchasing process, which generally prohibits communications concerning the RFQ until such time as the Village Manager makes a written recommendation to the Village Council. Facsimile or emailed bids shall be rejected and will not be accepted. Any submittals received after the due date and time specified, will not be considered. Miami Shores Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and re-advertise. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
