Collection system, water treatment and wastewater treatment chemicals for the 2024 calendar year. The prices furnished in the proposal shall be firm for a one-year supply from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. The contract may be extended two times for one-year periods if both parties agree during direct negotiations completed by September 1st annually. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bond equal to five (5) percent of the total amount. The bond or certified check will be held as a performance bond for the successful supplier and will be returned upon satisfactory completion of the contract period. All proposals must include a Safety Data Sheet and emergency/after-hours contact information. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive all technicalities. Bid opening is open to the public and all bidders are encouraged to attend. Social distancing and other safety protocols may be in place and are subject to change according to current City of St. Cloud policy. Draft results will be emailed to all proposers/suppliers by October 27, 2023. A final recommendation will be made to the St. Cloud City Council in November. The successful suppliers will be notified by email following Council approval.
