VCEA Project No. SOV1003.005 Significant items of work include: Hot Mix Asphalt 9.5M64 Surface Course, 2" Thick; Hot Mix Asphalt 19M64 Base Course, 4" Thick; Reset/Replace Historic Bluestone Curb; 6" High Density Polyethylene Pipe; and Green Infrastructure Tree Wells. The Township of South Orange Village reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid received, and to reject any and/or all bids as in its judgment may best serve the interest of the Village. The Village shall have a maximum of sixty (60) days from the receipt of bids to either accept or reject them. Proposals for the contracts will be accepted only from Bidders who have been properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the specifications. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964, and the requirements of P.O. 1975, c. 127. Bidders are required to provide a copy of their Public Works Contractor registration with the bid pursuant to P.L. 1999, c.238.
