Renovation of a residential development in South Orange, New Jersey. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
**As of February 6, 2024, No Bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** The Township of South Orange Village disclaims responsibility for late receipt of bids which are not submitted in person (i.e., mail, FedEx, etc.). All bids submitted, either in person or by mail must have the sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside BID FOR - 133 Fairview Avenue Phase IA Elevator Construction. The Scope of Work is the construction of new elevator inclusive of the associated structural & relocation/ reconstruction of mechanical-electrical- plumbing as required to facilitate placement of the new elevator, as well as associated architectural work described herein. The Township of South Orange Village reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bid received, and to reject any and/or all bids as in its judgment may best serve the interest of the Village. The Village shall have a maximum of sixty (60) days from the receipt of bids to either accept or reject them. Proposals for the contracts will be accepted only from Bidders who have been properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the specifications. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964, and the requirements of P.O. 1975, c. 127. Bidders are required to provide a copy of their Public Works Contractor registration with the bid pursuant to P.L. 1999, c.238. Bidders are required to provide a copy of their Business Registration with the bid pursuant to P.L. 2004, c.57.
