Mainline Sewer Point Repair Group 7 Black & Veatch and Overland Contracting (a subsidiary of Black & Veatch), as the Program Manager and Construction Manager for the Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (SARP10) on behalf of the City of Memphis, is soliciting Request for Bid (RFB) for the Mainline Sewer Point Repair Group 7 Scope of Work. Scope of Work: The scope of Work for this bid generally consists of performing point repairs on sewer mains throughout the City of Memphis. In most cases the work will include, but is not limited to, saw cutting a paved surface, digging down to the point where a repair needs to be made, replacing around 10'' of existing sewer pipe with new ductile iron pipe, backfilling the excavation with rock and then resurfacing the disturbed area. Repairs will be made on pipe sizes ranging from 6" to 24" and down to a maximum depth of approximately 20''. Other related work may include repair to service wyes and some lateral lines, sidewalk repair, curb and gutter repair, and repair of disturbed vegetated areas. Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) goals: SARP10 DBE Participation Goal: DBE minimum 20% (Vendors from the City of Memphis EBO list only) Registration: Firms not already prequalified for construction activity with SARP10 and Firms that prequalified more than one year ago, must submit the following registration information as soon as possible; but no later than October 19, 2023. SARP10 registration is valid for one year from the date of approval and will apply for all related construction contracts, under the SARP10 Program. If the Firm has prequalified with SARP10 in the past year, the Firm is not obligated to reapply.
