Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Clarksville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of October 27, 2023, the Project was awarded to Competition Athletic Surfaces but amount was not disclosed.** Northeast High School Tennis Court Resurfacing Clean, Repair, & Resurfacing - Northeast High School (4 tennis courts) a. All surface cleaning and preparations within the existing court fence(s) shall be performed by the bidder. b. Bidder shall clean court surfaces utilizing appropriate products and methods to include spot pressure washing to prepare surfaces for necessary repairs and proper color coat adhesion. c. Bidder shall be responsible for preparing cracks to be filled to include removal of any debris, soil build up, subsurface vegetative roots, or any temporary mortar repairs which may be in place. d. Bidder shall treat the existing cracks using Laykold two-part polyurethane crack filling materials (or approved product equal). e. Bidder shall squeegee apply 1 layer (approximately .19 mixed gallon/sq yard/layer or 500 gallons) of Laykold NuSurf flexible resurfacer (or approved product equal). The material will contain 60-mesh sand to provide an even texture to the surface. f. Bidder shall squeegee apply 2 layers (approximately .21 mixed gallon/sq. yard or 630 gallons) of Laykold Color Concentrate (or approved product equal). The material will contain 80-mesh sand to provide a "medium-speed" playing surface. The color scheme will be Laykold standard colors (court may be one or two colors to be selected after award by owner from manufacturer's standard color chart, however, all court lines shall be white). g. Bidder shall layout standard tennis court(s) and plot the lines using 2-inch wide masking tape and a hand operated striping machine to yield clean, sharp, accurate lines. Apply 2 coats of textured striping material as manufactured by Laykold (or approved equal product). The material will also contain 80-mesh sand to provide the same playing characteristics as the playing surface. h. Bidder shall install 4 new tennis nets and center straps.
