Renovation of a water / sewer project in Willacoochee, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work Includes: Rehabilitation and improvements to Wellhouse #2. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Willacoochee in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Willacoochee. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the City of Willacoochee as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract All work on the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days of date of Notice to Proceed. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded.
