Renovation of an educational facility in Morro Bay, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Any COR shall provide in writing to the Owner, the Architect and any construction manager, the effect of the proposed CO upon the Total Sublease Amount and the actual cost of construction, which shall include a complete itemized cost breakdown of all labor and material showing actual quantities, hours, unit prices, wage rates, required for the change, and the effect upon the Date for Completion or Milestone Deadlines of such CO. The District plans to construct the Work, which is a Modernization and New Modular Classrooms, on a District-owned site located at 501 Sequoia Street, in Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo County, California, and the District is soliciting proposals for the construction of the Work. The District has retained Finny Architects of San Luis Obispo, California, as its architect for the Contract ("Architect"). DSA approval of the plans and specifications for the Contract has not yet been issued, but will be obtained after award of the Lease-Leaseback Agreement. Any preconstruction services in the Lease-Leaseback Agreement may be performed before DSA approval, but the Work may not commence until DSA approval is received by the District, all preconstruction services are complete, the subcontractors are selected, and the Total Sublease Amount is approved by the District's governing board. Current plans and specifications may be obtained from the Architect. RFPQ Questions Due: October 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM Prequalification applications are available on the PQ Bids website located at pqbids.com. A proposal submitted by a Contractor that is not fully approved as prequalified will not be accepted and will not be considered by the District. To be fully approved as prequalified for the Contract, prequalification must be completed no later than 10:00 a.m., October 9, 2023.
