The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) Contracting Office, intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price, modification on contract number 6923G523C0152, to Collins Hammond Electrical Contractors under authority 10 USC 3204(a)(2) as implemented by FAR 6.302-2(a) - Unusual and Compelling Urgency, for emergency repair of the high voltage power to GLS maintenance base. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 237310. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a modification on contract number 6923G523C0152, in a sole source capacity. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. The Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation, Contracting Office intends to make this modification to Collins-Hammond Electrical Contractors Inc., 7724 State Hwy, Ogdensburg, NY 13669.
