As of October 17, 2023, This project is not out for bid yet. Project will be advertise sometime in December. City of Assumption Water Treatment Plant Improvements. Chastain & Associate LLC, 5 N. Country Club Road, Decatur, Illinois 62521, is seeking qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises for subcontracting opportunities in the area of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design related to the City of Assumption Water Treatment Plant Improvements project. Work shall include providing technical assistance and construction management and inspection for the project's electrical, mechanical, and plumbing construction phase. All interested and qualified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises shall contact Julie Marler IN WRITING (certified letter, return receipt requested) at the above address to discuss subcontracting opportunities. All negotiations must be completed within 30 days of the published date of this notice. Subcontractors shall provide proof of adequate insurance coverage including professional liability coverage. Subcontracting opportunities will be evaluated on technical qualifications of the subcontractor, their experience with similar type projects, their ability to complete work within the desired time frame and their cost to complete the assignment.
