As of December 5, 2023 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 6, 2023. 2: Sanitary Sewer installation Bid security in the form of a bid bond or bank cashiers check in an amount equal to five percent (5%), of the base bid is required from all bidders. Guaranty bonds in the form of a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%), of each bid will be required from the awarded bidders. Each separate Division will be awarded separately. This contract calls for the construction of a public work, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.) (the Act). The Act requires contractors and subcontractors to pay laborers, workers and mechanics performing services on public works projects no less than the "prevailing rate of wages" (hourly cash wages plus fringe benefits), in the county where the work is performed. For information regarding current prevailing wage rates, please refer to the Illinois Department of Labor's website at electronically . Contractor and Subcontractors shall include in bids, the cost for the current prevailing wage (Illinois Prevailing Wage Act-820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.). The Contractor shall ensure that any Subcontractors shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
