Renovation of an educational facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A. This section applies to all work under the plumbing contract. This shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: 1. Hot and Cold Water Distribution System 2. Piping Insulation B. The work shall include all materials, equipment and labor required for complete and properly functioning plumbing systems. C. Drawings for plumbing work are in part diagrammatic, intended to convey the scope of work and indicate general arrangement of equipment, piping and approximate sizes and locations of equipment and materials. D. Where job conditions require reasonable changes in indicated locations and arrangements, make such changes without additional cost to Owner. E. Because of the scale of the drawings, certain piping or items such as unions or fittings may not be shown, but where such items are required by other sections of the specifications, or where they are required by the nature of the work, they shall be furnished and installed. F. All elements of the construction shall be performed by work skilled in the particular craft involved, and regularly employed in that particular craft. G. All work shall be performed in a neat, workmanlike manner in keeping with the highest standards of the craft.
