BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to replace the old and rusted electrical system that has undergone multiple repairs but keeps shortening. The electrical system is needed, as it is fundamental to the operation of the Royal Palms restroom and the entire connecting septic system. SCOPE/OBJECTIVES: The objective of the contract is to ensure the restroom is open for the public by conducting the electrical repairs that are needed. Minimum Mandatory Requirements: o Vendor must possess a general contractor license registered w/ the Department of Industrial Relations o Vendor must possess a C-10 Electricians license o Vendor should provide references for at least 3 years of experience in similar scope of work Tasks: o Vendor must complete the following tasks: o Disconnect and remove the existing electrical meter box o Disconnect the existing electrical switch o Install new electrical panel, Siemens or equivalent, 200-Amp 3P commercial service meter main with the breaker. o Install 200-Amp, double throw safety switch, after determining the correct voltage to be used. o Replace electrical conduits and fittings and reconnect the power. o Hot dip galvanize or powder coat new electrical meter and electrical switch disconnect box. o Remove and dispose of all work-related debris upon completion. Bidder Responsibilities: o The bidder must supply all equipment and materials for the project. o Equipment should include: , drill and impact drill along with pipe benders, Sawzall, skill saw, roto hammer, torque wrench, and some standard hand tools, channel locks, diagonal cutters, side cutter, wire strippers, insulated screwdrivers, nut drivers, and hammer. o It is the bidder's responsibility to contact the nearby departments, such as Edison or LADWP, if it is necessary to turn electricity off/on. o Warranty for labor will be up to 1 year o Warranty for materials will vary based on the time provided by manufacturer. County reserves the right to select the bidder which County determines in its sole discretion, to be the most responsive and responsible bidder.
