Improvement to Waterfront Toronto lands. The scope includes revitalization of the city of Toronto waterfront through the management of the historical legacy of infilling. Materials used in the historical alteration of the shoreline do not meet current environmental standards, and their characteristics and methods of placement resulted in sensitivity to settlement. Management of the environmental and geotechnical aspects of redevelopment factor significantly into Waterfront Toronto development strategy. TIMELINE: Waterfront Toronto (legally known as Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation) invites all qualified firms to submit a Proposal for Environmental, Geotechnical and Hydrogeological Services Vendor of Record (VOR). The purpose of this RFP is to select firms to provide, from time to time, environmental, geotechnical, and hydrogeological consulting services in accordance with Waterfront Toronto's specific instructions on a project-by-project basis. Firms may be requested to provide environmental site assessment, risk assessment, environmental due diligence, geotechnical, geological, hydrogeological, and other services as more fully described in the RFP document. The term of this VOR is three-years, extendable for two additional one-year terms at Waterfront Toronto's option.
