As of January 1, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. General Construction: Demolition of existing 48" CMP culvert and installation of new 38" x 60" HERCP culvert, associated endwalls, road restoration, leveling course and approximately 198' wearing course overlay of both lanes of Limeville Road, and other work as described in the Bidding Documents. All questions shall be submitted in writing via PennBid. Any and all questions received after 3:00 p.m. on November 3, 2023 regarding the project will not be acknowledged. This contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions. West Sadsbury Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions thereof. Project location: Limeville Road, West Sadsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, approximately 2,100 LF west of the intersection of Limeville Road (T407) and Moscow Road (T-422). 1. General Construction: This contract includes the construction of the following: a. Removal of existing deteriorated 48" diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP). b. Installation of 38" x 60" Horizontal Elliptical Reinforced Concrete Pipe (HERCP) and associated end sections. c. Full depth paving and restoration of the excavated area for the installation of the HERCP, as detailed on the plan. d. Leveling course and overlay of approximately 198' of Limeville Road.
