Tree Trimming & Felling Greenwood Township is accepting bids for tree trimming on the following roads: Bid #1: Bardo Road (T-536): from Whitehorse Pike (T-661) to Mallard Road (T-625); and Whitehorse Pike (T-661): from State Route 42 to the intersection of Beagle Road (T-534). Specifications are as follows: The complete clearing & trimming back of trees & tree canopy 16.5 from center of road to the sky & for felling trees outside of right-of-way (as marked), stumps of no higher than 2, leaving no logs, branches or debris within the Townships rights-of-way or any waterways. Firewood should be left for the property owners & piled neatly off of the right-of-way. Performance Bond, Certificate of Liability and Workmans Compensation Insurance required of the successful bidder. Sealed bids will be received by Greenwood Township Supervisors, 90 Shed Road, Millville PA 17846 until 3:00 PM on October 14, 2024. All work must be completed by December 31, 2024. Liquidated damages to be assessed at $300 per day for each day beyond the due date that the work is not completed. Greenwood Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
