Construction Services for the Renovation of 13th and Washington; Jackson County Administration Building Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Oct 17th 2023, 5:00 PM The Project consists of the alteration of the former office building at 1300 Washington in Kansas City, Missouri for the Jackson County Administration Building. The building includes approximately 83,000 square feet on three floors and an underground parking garage. Exterior shell improvements will be limited to exterior facade maintenance items such as caulking, cleaning, repointing and roofing replacement. The interior of the building will be renovated as Class 'A' office space for the county's administrative offices. Site improvements will be limited to providing an accessible entrance at the northeast building entrance, repair of the northeast plaza, replacement of the southwest surface parking lot, installation of a security arm at the entrance of the surface parking lot, and inspection of and replacement plans for the sewer inlet at the southwest corner of the site. Structural work will be limited to the repair of the parking structure and miscellaneous structural modifications to the existing building structure to support the renovation. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work will be limited to new plumbing fixtures; a new Building Management System; garage ventilation/exhaust system upgrades; new HVAC to include fan-powered boxes, VAV boxes and associated ductwork; new lighting; and new eletrical panels boards (new HVAC rooftop units will be by Owner). Fire alarm and fire protection work will be limited to modifications to the sprinkler heads and fire alarm horn/strobes, and detection devices to support the renovation. Low voltage work will be limited to new voice, data and CATV cable infrastructure, associated pathways, racks, grounding, patch panels, jacks, and faceplates, as well as data cable infrastructure for wireless access points.
