Site work for a water / sewer project in Winfield, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of an expansion to the existing wastewater treatment plant with the addition of fine screen equipment, oxidation ditch channel, secondary clarifiers, flow division box, blower building, chemical feed improvements and plant modifications. Pursuant to Indiana Code 22-5-1.7-11, the Contractor entering into a contract with the Town of Winfield is required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all of its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. Pursuant to Indiana Code 5-22-16.5 the Town of Winfield may not contract with a person who is engaged in investment activities in Iran. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the Owner will consider the Total Base Bid and/or any combinations of the total base bid and/or alternate bids made for the Contract. The Owner may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents or which the Owner may legally consider. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Town deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
