Site work and paving for a road / highway in Milton, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This Contract provides for the resurfacing of Milton Way from Oak Street easterly approximately 2,600 linear feet to Juniper Street and Porter Way from Fife Way approximately 1,030 feet to Milton Way. The improvements include, but are not specifically limited to, removal and reconstruction of limited pavement areas, pavement planing, asphalt paving, replacement of curb ramps, traffic signal loop replacement, pavement markings, traffic control, and other miscellaneous items as further shown, described and indicated in the Contract Documents, and other work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. The Work shall be substantially complete within 25 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Milton, Washington. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the ""City of Milton"" and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount. The City of Milton expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
