The City of Milton solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil, Geotechnical, Structural and Transportation Engineering Design. This agreement will be for approximately two years with the option for the City to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing preliminary engineering design for improvements to the Interurban Trail where it ends at S. 380th Street in King County and picks up again off of Military Road just north of 31st Ave at the Edgewood City Limits in Pierce County. This proposed improvement would connect the two trailheads by adding approximately 3,100 feet of new trail and utilizing as much right-of-way (City and WSDOT) as possible.
