The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide This quote is for the replacement of nineteen sluice gates on concrete flumes around filter beds and in the aeration basin at the Fiveash Water Treatment Plant, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. services for the City's Public Works Department, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation To Bid (ITB). This project is located at 949 NW 38th Street, in the City of Fort Lauderdale. The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of nineteen sluice gates in concrete channels around the Fiveash Water Treatment Plant. Drawing Plans: The City of Fort Lauderdale Fiveash Water Treatment Plant is a secured facility and is exempt from the Public Records Law, pursuant to FL Statute Chapter 119.071. Interested parties must log on to the City's online strategic sourcing platform to access the City of Fort Lauderdale Plan & Specification Request Form AND must follow instructions contained therein. Licensing Requirements : General Contractor License required. NOTE: Payment on this contract will be made by Visa or MasterCard Bid Security : A certified check, cashier's check, bank officer's check or bid bond or TEN percent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, shall accompany each offer. Description: The Procurement Services Division has "GONE LIVE" with a new supplier registration and strategic sourcing system. The Procurement Services Division has implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP System is INFOR. As an enterprise system, one of the various modules is the Supplier Portal. The Supplier Portal is the gateway that allows for the City and Suppliers to connect and conduct business. The Supplier Portal is a one-stop electronic commerce exchange enabling suppliers interested in conducting business with the City to register as a supplier, respond to sourcing events/solicitations, and update their supplier information at any time.
