The City seeks Proposals from qualified firms ("Proposer") to provide a wide array of Building and Safety Services, which includes but is not limited to: Plan Check services in the form of review of construction drawings to ensure compliance with City-adopted Building Codes and related Municipal Code requirements; interfacing with permit applicants and Building and Safety staff; on-site building inspection services; plan check supervisor/manager to provide problem solving methods for unique or challenging plan check or code interpretation issues; and report writing, policy and procedure recommendations. It is anticipated the selection of a firm will be completed by February, 2024. An affirmative statement should be included verifying the firm and all assigned key professional staff are properly licensed to conduct business in California. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any non-material irregularities or information in any proposal, and to accept or reject any items or combination of items.
