To solicit proposals from qualified firms to provide a technical solution for a comprehensive integrated access control system upgrade for the Gloucester County Jail, which may include software and hardware, door and mechanical locks, two-way intercom communications and integration with the existing on site camera and fire control systems. The resulting agreements from this solicitation shall be non-exclusive and the services provided shall be on an on-call basis with no guarantee of work. The use of the contracted firm shall be at the sole discretion of the County. Questions: Questions or comments regarding this solicitation shall be directed to the Buyer not later than October 30, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. All questions shall be submitted in writing (email is preferred). The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty and without liability for goods or services which have not been delivered, provided, or ordered as of the date of notice of termination/cancellation, upon 30 days written notice to the Contractor. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the Contractor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation. Contractors may request cancellation of their contract, upon 60 days written notice to the County. The Contractor shall be responsible for delivering their goods or services during this period at the contracted price. This contract term for services under this contract shall be for one (1) year from the date of the contract award.
