This Contract is Funded in Part by the Federal Highway Administration (Fhwa) and is Required to Meet the Contract Provisions for Federal Aid Construction Contracts, Including Buy America Requirements. a Federal Small Business Enterprise (Fsbe) Goal of 17% Has Been Established for This Contract. Work Contemplated to Be Performed Under This Contract is as Follows: Remove Structures and Obstructions Construct Soldier Pile and Soldier Pile Tie-back Wall Construct Cast in Place Walls Construct Cast in Place Barriers Construct Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter, Sidewalk Construct Median Islands Construct Multi-use Trail Storm Drainage Improvements Grind and Overlay of Pavement Construct Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon Lighting and Its Fiber Optic System Construction Urban Design Element Construction and Installation Landscape and Irrigation Temporary Traffic Control Water Main Installation Bid Bond Required: Each Bid Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond in the Form of Cash, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Surety Bond in an Amount Equal to at Least 5% of the Amount of Such Bid. Checks Shall Be Made Payable to the City Treasurer. Should the Successful Bidder Fail to Enter Into a Contract and Furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond Within the Time Stated in the Specifications, the Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited to the City of Bellevue. Addenda May Not Be Available or Updated on Any Other Website Other Than Through the Official Plan Holders List. Supplemental Responsible Bidder Criteria Will Apply to This Project, and Are Included in Section 1-02 of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions.
