As of January 1, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Cost Estimate: $1.6 to 1.8 million. The work includes all material, labor, and equipment necessary for the installation of approximately 2,340 feet of 12" Ductile Iron water line, replacement of 19 water services, installation and removal of temporary water mains, lawn and pavement restoration as shown on the drawings and as specified. The project is located in South Middleton Township, Cumberland County. This project is being funded in part with grant funds through the Commonwealth Financing Authority Statewide Local Share Account Program and Cumberland County. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing through electronically. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. All questions that have been asked and answered through electronically. The identity of the Bidder asking the question is not disclosed to other bidders. Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. The Owner intends to issue the Notice to Proceed on or before January 1, 2024.
