A timeline for award has not yet been established.** All equipment, labor and services required to complete all Interior Painting work, including all items incidental thereto as specified herein and as shown on the Drawings. As follows and as indicated on the drawings. a. Surface preparation as specified and as recommended by coating manufacturer. b. Field application of paints. c. Materials for backpriming woodwork. Finish interior surfaces exposed to view, unless fully factoryfinished and unless otherwise indicated. 1) Provide and install primer and touch-up paint to match existing color and sheen at any areas disturbed by the work. 2) Priming and painting of all gypsum board wall assemblies will be performed by Owner. Preparation of GWB for painting (including taping, mudding, and sanding) is to be performed by GC. 3) Both sides and edges of plywood backboards for electrical and telecom equipment before installing equipment. 4) Mechanical and Electrical: (a) In finished areas, paint insulated and exposed pipes, conduit, boxes, insulated and exposed ducts, hangers, brackets, collars and supports, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment, unless otherwise indicated. (b) In finished areas, paint shop-primed items. (c) Paint interior surfaces of air ducts, transfer grills, and convector and baseboard heating cabinets that are visible through grilles and louvers with one coat of flat black paint to visible surfaces. (d) Paint dampers exposed behind louvers, grilles, and convector and baseboard cabinets to match face panels. Give notices, file plans, obtain permits and licenses, pay fees and obtain necessary approvals from authorities that have jurisdiction. There are no anticipated utility backcharges for this project.
