The project consists of highway reconstruction of Peña Boulevard outbound from Jackson Gap Street to the terminal. Additionally, Jackson Gap Street Interchange will be reconstructed and changed to a new diverging diamond interchange (DDI) geometric configuration as well as the reconstruction of the Jackson Gap Street roadway from 74th Ave. to 78th Ave. The project also includes new Direct Connection Ramps from East Terminal Outbound and West Terminal Outbound to New Castle Road. The Peña Boulevard Bridges, inbound and outbound over Jackson Gap Street will be widened and rehabilitation of other bridge structures within the work limits is included.
