The Solid Waste Division of the Plumas County Department of Public Works will accept proposals from qualified water quality analytical laboratories, certified in the State of California, for ongoing collection of groundwater samples and analysis of those samples in conformance with requirements of the State of California Water Resource Control Board (SWRCB) as set forth in current Water Discharge Requirements (WDRs) to Plumas County for the operation of the Gopher Hill Municipal Landfill (closed) and Chester Municipal Landfills (open) The point of contact for the County will be Sean Graham, Solid Waste Program Manager, Plumas County Department of Public Works, 1834 East Main Street, Quincy, CA 95971. She can be reached by telephone at (530) 283-6032 or by email at seangraham@countyofplumas.com for any questions about this Request for Qualifications. This Proposal shall be made and received in two (2) parts: Part I shall consist of a proposal for the periodic collection of such groundwater samples per the WDRs and shall be broken down by landfill. Part II shall consist of the laboratory analysis and reporting of such water samples, also segregated by landfill. Final Date for Inquiries to the Public Works Department for Written Clarifications Request for RFQ Friday, October 13th, 2023, by 5:00 PM Notice to Proceed issued by Director of Public Works No later than December 31st, 2023
