Installing new sanitary sewer main by open-trench, reconnection of laterals, sawcutting, excavation, backfill, asphalt concrete restoration, manhole rehabilitation and all other work specified in the contract documents and as shown on the plans. COMPLETION OF WORK: The WORK must be completed within forty (40) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The WORK includes: Replacing existing sanitary sewer pipelines by open trench, Sawcutting, Excavation, Backfill, Reconnecting laterals, Manhole replacement Manhole and Sewer Pipe abandonment Asphalt concrete restoration, CCTV inspection, Traffic control, and Bypass pumping BID SECURITY: Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Bid Bond executed by an admitted surety in the amount of ten (10) percent of the Total Bid Price payable to the City of Pinole as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The City reserves the right to reject all or any part of all bids submitted, waive informalities and irregularities, and will not, to the extent allowed by law, be bound to accept the lowest bid.
