Minimum Contractor Qualifications for General Contractors: The Bidder, as a company, shall have experience as a general contractor in the successful construction of at least two mechanical municipal wastewater treatment plants within 5 years prior to the bid opening date. At least one of these projects shall have a minimum construction contract amount of $4,000,000 and a minimum treatment capacity of 1.0 million gallons per day. Submitted bids that do not meet the above minimum contractor qualifications will be cause for rejection. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
