As of March 31, 2025, all trades have been awarded. A firm construction timeline is currently unknown. Once commenced, construction will only take one week to complete the project. The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. Description of the work: the work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, the replacement in kind of three 100kvai 12.47kv(delta), 277/480v(wye), 3 phase, 4 wire sub-station style transformers in kind on the existing pad with new ground rod and #110 copper ground. The city reserves the right after opening bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality (non-responsiveness) in a bid, or to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder (as determined per the instructions to bidders) and reject all other bids, as it may best serve the interest of the city. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to the City of Merced. Contractor's license classification: the contractor shall possess a valid class c-io license at the time of submitting bids. Local business enterprise participation: the local business enterprise (lbe) participation goal is five percent (5%).
