The CM/GC in collaboration with the design team will be responsible to provide pre-construction services resulting in a guaranteed maximum price proposal for construction phases. The CM/GC and the City will enter into a Preconstruction Contract for an agreed upon fee. The CM/GC will work with the design consultant team in an agency support role for preconstruction services. Before construction, the CM/GC will assume the risk of delivering the project through a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The CM/GC will be responsible for construction means and methods to meet the project goals.
