**As of October October 20, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Project will be awarded on Tuesday.** The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/ or informalities in any bid, negotiate bids as described in "Instructions to Bidders," and to make an award in any manner, consistent with law, deemed in the best interest of the County. 1. Remove existing pavement - 53 feet by 33 feet. 2. Prepare base - soil, dense grade gravel and H inch rebar. 3. Pour concrete pad - 53 feet by 33 feet by 8 inches deep. 4. Disposal is on site and should not be included in bid. The term of this Contract shall be from the date of signing until final inspection/approval of the site by County. Desired start date of project is November 20, 2023. The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of all items contained in Contractors Bid, including the provision of labor, equipment, materials, tools, insurance, supervision, and all other items necessary to provide the service. Envelopes containing the bids shall be addressed to Woodford County Judge/Executive James Kay, 103 S. Main Street, Room 200, Versailles, Kentucky 40383, must be sealed, must clearly show the name and address of bidder, the date and time of bid opening, and bear the statement "Woodford County Solid Waste and Recycling Center- Concrete Pad". Bids may be withdrawn prior to the bid opening.
