Site work and paving for a civil project in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be done under this contract includes: Resurfacing 6th Street (Iowa St. to Massachusetts St.), Storm Sewer Improvements (Bluffs Drive to Missouri Street), Traffic Signal Improvements, and Waterline Improvements on 6th Street (Bluffs Drive to Maine St.). The Project includes, but is not limited to the following approximate quantities of Work: 48,412 S.Y. of Milling, 7,069 Tons of Asphalt Surface Course (2"), 6,223 L.F. of Concrete Curb and Gutter, 3,211 S.Y. of Concrete Pavement, 2,824 L.F. of Storm Sewer (15" to 66"), 41 Each Storm Sewer Structures, 3,176 S.Y. of Concrete Sidewalks (4" & 6"), Traffic Signal Improvements and Adjustments, 3,028 L.F. of Waterlines (4",6" & 8") to be constructed by Open Cut and by Horizontal Directional Drill, Permanent Signing, and 24,608 L.F. of Pavement Marking (various widths and colors). All questions will receive an official written response from the city and will become addenda to this Bid.
