Reference Number AB-2023-06054 The Summer Village on Sylvan Lake is requiring shoulder, ditch and open space mowing, and trimming at all five (5) Summer Villages around Sylvan Lake. These Summer Villages include Sunbreaker Cove, Jarvis Bay, Norglenwold, Birchcliff, and Half Moon Bay. The Summer Village on Sylvan Lake requires seasonal roadside maintenance services consisting of natural grass and turf mowing and trimming and removal for approximately 61.55 acres of Town-owned parks and green spaces, which will equate to mowing approximately 911.48 total square acres over the span of the contract. The estimated acreage of open space and total linear distance is identified in the 2023 Mowing Areas & Maps attached hereto as Schedule C. The number of parks and green spaces that require parks maintenance services could be reduced due to unforeseen events. The parks and green spaces are each assigned a classification of either Week 1 or Week 2. This represents the frequency of mowing for each. Week 1 refers to mowing once per week, Week 2 areas are to be mowed once every two weeks. The actual number of maintenance services required will vary depending on weather and other factors and will be at the direction of the Summer Village. The maintenance services are to be performed on a unit price basis, per servicing per park or green space. The contractor may be requested to maintain additional green spaces not identified in this RFP. Maintenance services for additional areas will be provided either on per acre rate basis or an agreed unit rate per area
