Site work and paving for a road / highway in Smithfield, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Smithfield is seeking qualified proposals for the 2023-2024 Street Resurfacing Project. Resurface selected streets within the Town limits as directed by the Project Engineer. 1. S9.5B Asphalt Surface Course or approved equal 1-1/2 Thick 2. Sawcut and remove existing asphalt and remove existing aggregate base course (ABC). 3. Full Depth Patch (5 Type H Asphalt Concrete Binder Course or approved equal). 4. Adjust Manhole rings and covers. 5. Adjust Water Valve Boxes. 6. Adjust Gas Valve Boxes. 7. Seal Cracks in Existing Pavement. 8. Milling of Asphalt (l 1/2 below gutter line) Please direct technical questions to Lawrence Davis, Public Works Director at 919 934-2580 or 919 934-2596.
