The goal of this project is to remove and replace the existing 900 MHz radio SCADA communication system and design and replace it with a reliable licensed radio system and new programmable logic controller (PLC) data concentrator including but not limited to the following: Establish two 400 MHz licenced radio hubs, each utilizing duplex frequencies to link the remote sites. The two hubs will connect sites on respective sides of Tunnel Mountain. Establish a reliable high speed link between the WWTP and the Fleet building using 18 GHz licensed radios. Utilize existing fiber optic link the Fire Hall and Town Hall. Coordinate with the Town the use of the existing supernet fiber connection between Fleet and Town Hall. Connect the new fibre optic WAN to the radio linking the WWTP to Fleet. Establish a new data concentrator PLC at each 400 MHz radio hub location (Fleet Building and Fire Hall) and utilize serial communications to poll each remote PLC. PLC programming of the data concentrators will be completed by others. Close of Questions November 17, 2023
