Demolition, site work and addition to a playground / park / athletic field in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Riverside ("City") is seeking a qualified entity or individual ("Proposer" or "Design-Build Entity") to provide design-build services for the Bordwell Park Gymnasium addition to the Stratton Community Center ad Police Agility Course ("Project"), located at Bordwell Park, 2008 Martin Luther King Boulevard, Riverside, California. Design and construction services for the project include but are not necessarily limited to architectural, electrical, lighting, mechanical, civil, structural engineering and landscape architectural services. The Design-Build Entity will act as the project designer and contractor responsible for preparing, securing and providing approved engineered improvement plans, building permits, construction specifications, construction documents, construction services, construction observation and all other services needed to design and construct a roughly 11,000 square foot gymnasium addition which includes restrooms appropriately sized for a gymnasium, roughly 700 sq.ft. storage area and a concession room to serve warmed and opened foods (no grilled or fried foods). The gymnasium addition will likely require the demolition of an existing Police agility course. The Design-Build Entity shall provide design-build services for a new Police agility course, and add a challenge course for community use. See Exhibit A-2 "Scope of Services" for more information. The Design-Build Entity shall design the entirety of the project, prepare construction plans, specifications and construct the Project using the Performance Criteria provided as Concept Plans and Technical Specifications, and elsewhere within this Request for Proposal ("RFP").
