The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority seeks to hire a licensed contractor for the construction of concrete storage bins at the FKAA Lower Keys Operations Office, 7000 Front St., Key West, FL 33040. Bid is to supply labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform all requested work. All work must be completed in accordance with the scope of work below and the attached drawing (Attachment A). Scope of Work - Demolition and disposal of existing material bin structure. - (20) each, 16" diameter drilled and poured auger piles, 8' deep from existing grade. - Excavations and backfill at footings. - Concrete footing 2' x 1.33' at walls. - 5' (above grade) CMU walls per drawing with all cells filled and #5 rebar reinforcing at 16" o.c. - 8" x 8" concrete cap beam - 8" concrete slab (97' x 24') reinforced w/ #5 at 12" o.c. both ways Questions regarding this bid should be directed in writing via email to David Jackson, Purchasing Manager at djackson@fkaa.com.
